Senior Fullstack Developer (PHP & Vue.js)

RemoteStar is looking to hire a Senior Full Stack Developer (PHP & Vue.js) on behalf of our client in the United Kingdom.

About Role

A UK-based company founded in 2012 for UK movers to compare and connect with moving industry professionals.

Location: Cardiff, UK

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will:

• Be responsible for extending the B2B dashboard to provide more autonomy to clients.
• Be part of a team extending the internal CRM to aid the partner support team.
• Upgrade the stack.
• Consolidate build tools and write a new suite of tests.
• Translate a brief into a robust and well-architected system.
• Provide leadership and guidance for the developers tasked with the project.
• Ensure development best practices are followed (Clean Code, Clean Architecture, code reviews).
• Actively communicate with stakeholders, team members, and clients.

• Experience with Symfony or a similar framework.
• Experience with VueJS or similar.
• Strong understanding of MySQL and ORMs.
• Familiarity with integrating APIs and best working practices and documentation.
• Experience with build tools (Webpack or similar) and automated testing.
• Strong experience with GIT version control.
• Experience with HTML, SCSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with package managers (e.g., Composer/NPM).
• Comfortable working with existing codebases.
• Comfortable identifying and squashing bugs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
