IO Interactive are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Frontend Developer to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cutting-edge web applications. We are looking for someone who is not only an expert in web development but also a versatile generalist, and eager to explore and master new technologies and tools.

What you will do:

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient web applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
• Take ownership of the entire feature development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize application performance.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in web development and bring new ideas to the team.
• Proactively identify and tackle technical challenges, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Extensive experience in web development.
• Solid understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Strong knowledge of front-end frameworks/libraries.
• Familiarity with back-end technologies and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and package managers.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code with a strong emphasis on software engineering best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
