We are seeking a talented and ambitious Food Technologist ready for the next step in their career to join our client’s team in London.

The Role:

As Senior Food Technologist, you will report to and support the Senior Technical Manager in delivering all safe and legal technical requirements. You will collaborate closely with teams across the business, as well as suppliers and customers. Your responsibilities will include providing technical guidance, as well as assisting in NPD trials and product launches from a technical perspective. You will be responsible for writing and maintaining product specifications, addressing product queries, ensuring compliance with customer Codes of Practice (COPs), and implementing supplier improvement plans. Additionally, you will support audits, risk assessments, and performance monitoring, conduct gap analysis, and ensure accurate documentation of records. Ensuring that all audit actions are completed and shared with the wider team will also be a key aspect of your role.

Candidate Requirements:

Minimum 3 years in a similar technical role within food manufacturing.

Degree in Food Science or equivalent experience.

Strong understanding of the food industry and UK food legislation.

HACCP Level 3 or higher.

Analytical mindset, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
