Senior Flood Risk Assessor- Bath

My client, a UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Hydrology and Infrastructure Engineering, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join a Consultancy based in Bath.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to join a friendly team of Engineers to complete Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2 and 3, Drainage Strategies and Hydraulic Modelling using Tuflow or Flood Modeller.

Responsibilities:

1. Complete Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1, 2, and 3.
2. Develop Drainage Strategies.
3. Conduct Hydraulic Modelling using Tuflow or Flood Modeller.

Minimum Requirements:

1. BSc, MSc, and/or PhD in a relevant subject (e.g. Hydrology, Environmental Management or Civil Engineering).
2. Experience working for a UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller and Tuflow.
3. Keen interest in flood risk and drainage.
4. Confidence to liaise with clients to discuss project development and issues.
5. Valid UK licence to visit flood risk sites across the South West (beneficial).
