Job description

Senior Hardware Engineer needed for a company that is working to decarbonise industry.

The company is in scale-up mode, so this is a great chance to join a company where you can make real impact, and fast. Reporting directly to the Head of Hardware, you’ll be joining a small multi-disciplinary team and take ownership of hardware development.

What you’ll be doing:
  1. Design, develop, and optimise firmware for embedded systems using Zephyr RTOS.
  2. Implement and maintain BLE and LoRaWAN based communication protocols.
  3. Work closely with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with custom hardware platforms.
  4. Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and validation frameworks.
What you need:
  1. 5+ years of firmware engineering experience.
  2. Experience with Bluetooth and IoT technology.
  3. Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded development.
  4. Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers and associated toolchains.
  5. Solid understanding of embedded software development best practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
  6. Proven track record of shipping products from concept to high-volume manufacturing.
