Senior Financial Controller

Our client is a hugely successful and investing global digital media brand - based in Central London, they are currently recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller to be part of a passionate, high performing team.

Reporting directly to senior leadership - we are seeking those who possess a proven track record of success operating at Financial Control level.

This is a pivotal role to the London based team but also the global group more widely. The successful post holder will have the opportunity to take on the following key responsibilities:

1. Direct management of a team of 15 with 2 direct reports.
2. Oversee and review all of the financial accounting and reporting.
3. Management of the relationship with the auditors and audit process.
4. Drive and maintain all relevant financial controls and their ongoing development.
5. Lead month end processes and associated variance analysis.
6. Oversee tax work and management of the relationship with tax advisors.
7. Run key finance transformation projects on an ongoing basis, in respect of systems and processes.

We are seeking those who possess a strong academic record as well as formal accountancy qualification - most likely ACA/ CA or overseas equivalent.

You will most likely have qualified with a Big 4 or top 10 accountancy practice.

Previous team management experience and a strong background in financial reporting and controls is key.

Knowledge and practical experience of working with US GAAP and FRS 102 accountancy standards would be hugely beneficial.
