Senior Finance Manager for global retail business in Blackburn, up to £67K

Your new company

Your new role
As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be an essential asset to the business, reporting directly to the Financial Controller. You will oversee end-to-end finance operations, including financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and identifying opportunities to improve procedures and controls. Your duties will include:

  1. Monitoring day-to-day financial operations
  2. Reviewing financial data
  3. Preparing monthly and annual reports
  4. Providing data-backed recommendations to support effective decision-making
  5. Involvement in the year-end audit process
  6. Engaging in various project work such as automation and systems improvement

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience. You should have the ability to adapt and respond to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and be confident in developing a team. Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. An ambitious and self-motivated individual will thrive in this role.
