Job description

Gleeson Recruitment Group are supporting a high-growth, PE backed business, who are looking to appoint a Senior Finance Business Partner, in a newly-created position. This business have made a series of high-profile appointments into their Finance team, so it is an exciting time to join the business.


This is a pivotal role that blends financial reporting with commercial insight. You will be responsible for the production of accurate and timely management accounts while also working closely with operational teams to drive business performance and strategic decision-making.


Key responsibilities:
  1. Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.
  2. Business partnering with key stakeholders across multiple sites to provide financial insight and drive performance improvements.
  3. Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  4. Identifying and analysing key performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
  5. Providing financial modelling and analysis to support strategic initiatives.
  6. Driving efficiencies and process improvements within financial reporting and operational finance.
  7. Acting as a trusted advisor to non-finance stakeholders, translating financial data into meaningful insights.

About You:
  1. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience in a finance business partnering role within a multi-site environment.
  3. Strong management accounting skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  5. Commercially driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  6. Experience in a PE-backed business would be highly advantageous.
