Senior Finance Business Partner (Operational Finance Manager – FMCG Manufacturing) |£75,000 + suite of benefits including car allowance (£8000) + bonus |London (hybrid working)

The Opportunity

Superb opportunity – Operational Finance Manager / Senior Finance Business Partner for an expanding £250m+ turnover manufacturing business (part of an international plc).

It’s an innovative, large-scale, profitable and fast-paced production setting and you’ll be a key senior business partner to the operational leadership / management teams across the 3 key sites locally.

You’ll be making a real difference and the role would suit a finance professional who loves being provided the freedom to get out into the business and speak to colleagues across the productionenvironment.

You’ll be delivering key MI and commercially valuable insights around costs, NPD, capex ROI, variances, production performance vs expectation, forecasts… it’s completely business facing with real chance to influence change and progress.

It’s a business investing in expansion and diversification and constant NPD. There are a range of ongoing projects to get stuck into alongside the business as usual and you’ll enjoy plenty of variety and challenge.

You’ll be someone who:

• Has previous experience of finance business partnering within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Someone with a track record of working with non finance colleagues to influence growth and profit.
• Someone comfortable supporting site leadership teams / operational managers and someone with obvious capability in this arena.
• Is able to lead and coach (this role has a team of 3 reports).
• Has clear commercial acumen and understanding of the levers of profit and margin retention across a complex production site.
• Loves to be part of continuous improvement and change projects.
• Has confidence when using Excel.
• Has completed CIMA or equivalent.
