The FP&A team is part of the wider CFO-function and have had great success in supporting the business so far and are now working on enabling growth in the business and scaling efficiently.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be an integral part of our FP&A team, reporting directly to the Director of Commercial Finance and FP&A.

You will work cross-functionally to support our business through detailed financial analysis, planning, and forecasting.

You will play a key role in providing insights that drive strategic decision-making and help optimise financial performance across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Budgeting & Forecasting:

1. Lead the annual budget planning process, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
2. Partner with departmental budget holders to develop and maintain cost center budgets.
3. Partner with People team to receive up-to-date staffing information for financial forecasting, confirm budget and be first line of approval for new job postings.
4. Conduct periodic budget follow-ups, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions.
5. Drive monthly and financial year forecasts, providing insights on risks and opportunities.

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

1. Monitor and analyse budget performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
2. Prepare management reports, including variance analysis and scenario planning.
3. Support strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and recommendations.

Manage and enhance the Commission Process:

1. Ensuring accurate calculations, timely payouts, and alignment with sales performance.
2. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and increase efficiency.

Operational & Month-End Close Support:

1. Assist finance control teams with the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
2. Oversee accrual preparations to ensure proper expense recognition.
3. Collaborate with accounting teams to improve financial processes and controls.

About you:

1. 5+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A or Business Partnering within high-growth startups or scale-ups, with a track record of driving strategic financial insights.
2. Capable of leading and executing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
3. Strong business acumen, with the ability to engage cross-functionally across Finance, Sales, and Operations to support data-driven decision-making.
4. Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment, approaching challenges with a solutions-oriented mindset.
5. Self-starter with excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to think proactively and anticipate business needs.
6. Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, reporting and storytelling.
7. Comfortable multitasking and managing multiple priorities across stakeholders, ensuring high-quality delivery in a fast-paced environment.
