Job description

Senior Finance Business Partner

Resourcery Group is pleased to support a Liverpool-based Housing Association in their search for a Senior Finance Business Partner. This newly created position will report to the Head of Finance and play a crucial role in supporting key decision-making and providing valuable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust financial models and business forecasts
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis and insights to support decision-making processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive financial performance and contribute to business growth
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Monitor and review financial performance against budget and forecast, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue generation

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or Finalist
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar finance business partnering role within the Housing sector
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis
  • Thorough understanding of financial principles and practices
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Advanced Excel skills

What we offer:

  • Competitive salary of £55,000 (with annual pay increases in line with the sector)
  • This is a remote role, with the expectation to be on-site approximately 1-2 times per month in Liverpool and/or for budget holder meetings
