Job description

Are you a qualified accountant? Does applying your trade to a leading games studio sound appealing?

As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, strategic decision-making and commercial insights across the business. You will be a key strategic partner to senior stakeholders, providing data-driven insights, financial analysis, and commercial support.

This role requires a commercially astute finance professional with strong analytical and modelling skills, excellent stakeholder management and a deep understanding of FP&A, ideally within a fast-moving, PE-backed environment.

What you'll be doing:

  1. Act as a trusted Finance partner to senior leaders across key business units to provide financial insight, embed cost discipline and challenge decision-making. Build relationships to develop a deep understanding of the business and the drivers of business performance.
  2. Provide transparent and actionable budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth strategy.
  3. Deliver accurate, insightful and timely financial reports to senior stakeholders.
  4. Develop robust financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic decision making and optimise business performance.
  5. Monitor key performance indicators, identifying risks and opportunities and proactively recommending corrective actions.
  6. Partner with and support key stakeholders to assess financial impacts of transformation projects to support long-term business strategy.
  7. Support business cases for investment decisions, including ROI analysis and scenario modelling.
  8. Enhance FP&A processes, leveraging automation and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.

What you'll need:

  1. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering roles.
  2. Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  3. Experience in a PE-backed or technology-driven business is highly desirable.
  4. Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving commercial outcomes.
  5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a hands-on approach.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to challenge and support senior stakeholders.
