Senior Finance Analyst

Job Overview: Join our dynamic team at IQVIA, where you'll play a key role in managing our accounting systems and controls. You'll provide valuable insights through monthly cost analysis and assist in preparing forecasts and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Take charge of monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and other accounting tasks.
2. Support accounting entries and financial data integration for newly acquired businesses.
3. Offer finance leaders insightful analysis on monthly financial results and timesheet data.
4. Participate in our monthly forecasting and annual planning cycles.
5. Prepare Monthly Business Review reports and update standardized scorecards.
6. Provide accurate financial information to support various finance groups, including our Tax Team.
7. Collaborate with auditors to complete annual legal entity audits.
8. Take on additional responsibilities, such as supporting M&A integration activities.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Skills:

1. Strong numeracy skills and experience in a financial role.
2. Ability to work well with all levels of staff within finance and operations.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Experience needed in accounting (GL accounting ideally), statutory accounting, reporting and financial analysis.

Desirable Skills:

1. Qualified or part-qualified AAT/ACCA.
2. Experience with Hyperion, PeopleSoft, and Blackline, or relevant higher education qualifications.
3. Knowledge about IFRS (ideally), GAAP (nice to have).
