Senior Finance Analyst, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire (Hybrid working)
£45,000 - £55,000 Plus Benefits - Bonus, Medical & Pension

Our client, who holds an instantly recognisable brand throughout the globe, is looking to add the capabilities of a talented and highly driven Commercial Finance Analyst on a permanent basis. This role has a particular focus on a new venture my client is launching.

You will report directly to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager and play a key role in developing and expanding a new arm of the business. You will not be limited to the UK, and by working alongside the stakeholders, you will have the scope to develop worldwide best practices for business partnering and support.

Key Duties:

1. Key business partner with the marketing team, looking at pricing and promotional strategies.
2. Working with the marketing team to lead decision support in a variety of areas, including marketing spend return on investments and market trends.
3. Detailed business performance reports for seniority, including an insight into the drivers of business performance.
4. Regularly reviewing and creating an analytical assessment of the online arm of the business, including results against forecast/plan. When needed, regularly challenging the online business to ensure the drivers are fully understood in order to forecast future trends.
5. Providing commercially sound financial analysis for ad hoc projects, including cost effectiveness, commercial viability, operational capability, and financial audit/controls.

The successful candidate will be a strategic business finance professional with excellent communication skills. Solid examples of business partnering are a must, as well as excellent analytical skills. The successful candidate will be of graduate calibre with strong academics and part/qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
