Senior Finance Analyst - Leading FMCG Company

Salary - up to £65k

Location - Hatfield (Hybrid)

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Analyst to join their Finance team. This role offers excellent career development potential in a business that values innovation and analytical thinking. Reporting to the Financial Planning Manager, you will play a key role in providing financial insights that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate and timely financial reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and metrics to track business performance.
  • Contribute to monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
  • Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Provide analytical support for business initiatives and investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver financial insights.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis and financial models as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 1-3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong background in financial planning and analysis within a commercial environment.
  • Experience in internal and external reporting.
  • Proven track record in developing and monitoring KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools similar to Power BI.
  • Experience with consolidation platforms would be highly advantageous.
  • Advanced Excel skills and aptitude for learning new systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail with analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
