Job description

Join a leading renewable energy company as a Senior Financial Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is essential for supporting the quarterly group valuation process and improving financial tools and models. You'll generate and analyse short- and long-term business forecasts, considering various growth scenarios to aid strategic decision-making. Clear communication of your analyses to leadership, investors, and stakeholders is key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct short-term Total Shareholder Return (TSR) planning.
  • Develop long-term growth forecasts, scenario planning, and evaluate impacts on Net Asset Value (NAV).
  • Enhance our NAV model by incorporating new information for accurate forecasting and stakeholder reporting.
  • Support the consolidation and delivery of the quarterly NAV process.
  • Assist in preparing Board Papers alongside the Head of Strategic Finance and Financial Analysis Manager.
  • Contribute to Investor Relations through standard quarterly and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and scenario analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured approach.
  • In-depth knowledge of the renewable energy sector.
  • Effective communication and engagement across all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive transformation and manage change.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • CFA preferred.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.
