Senior Executive Assistant and Support Manager

The Clean Air Fund is looking to recruit a Senior Executive Assistant and Support Manager to join their team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation whose mission is to use philanthropic grants to catalyse a reduction in air pollution.

As Senior Executive Assistant and Support Manager with Clean Air Fund, you would support the CEO and lead CAF’s global Executive Support team. Working alongside the Chief of Staff (CoS), this role ensures every moment of the CEO’s time is well spent, which supports the smooth running of the organisation and helps CAF to deliver our strategic objectives. This role also leads and line manages the global Executive Support team, ensuring all of CAF’s Senior Leadership Team are well supported in their roles. The Senior EA and Support Manager is responsible for managing the CEO’s diary, which includes a lot of complex international travel and coordinating the CEO’s preparations for high-profile international events.

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Previous PA/EA experience in a busy and complex environment; good experience as a scheduler or manager of executive time.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: engages with others to get the best out of them; works well as part of a team.
  • Professional, with sound independent judgment, strong organisational and project management skills, and the ability to be flexible as priorities and needs change.
  • Evidence of capacity to work in a range of cultural and socio-economic contexts, adapting style and approach appropriately and in a culturally sensitive manner to maximise effectiveness.
  • Ability to work unsupervised, a motivated self-starter, with strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in all areas of Microsoft. Must possess strong Word, PowerPoint, Excel and typing skills; ability to learn new packages when required.
  • Experience line managing others and leading a team.
  • Numerate, with a good understanding of basic budget processes.
