We are a full-service agency that has been creating and designing worldwide corporate events, conferences and incentives for over 20 years. You will actively work with and represent clients from the top 5 Media agencies, Technology Firms, and Pharmaceutical Companies at events like World Economic Forum in Davos and COP.

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be the client lead for several international projects managing in locations such as Dubai, Madrid, Geneva, Davos and Cairo. As an integral part of the management team, we will continue to invest in you and your development helping you grow as a leader providing training and support. Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives, preferences and budgetary constraints.
  • Develop comprehensive event strategies, including concept development, event timelines, and production plans.
  • Oversee event design and ensure it aligns with the client's vision and brand identity.
  • Manage a team of event planners and coordinators, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes creativity and innovation.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring each team member is clear on their responsibilities.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, and event service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage budgets to optimize resources without compromising on quality.
  • Conduct vendor assessments to ensure they meet the company's standards and client expectations.
  • Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including setup, registration, catering, audio-visual requirements and more.
  • Manage delivery and ensure seamless execution.
  • Anticipate potential challenges and implement contingency plans to ensure a successful event.
  • Work with the finance department to ensure accurate and timely billing and payment processing.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess event success, gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Utilise insights from evaluations to enhance future events and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.

Must-Have:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as an Agency Event Manager, with experience in conferences, exhibitions and events for the corporate market.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Strong organisational, multitasking and time management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and client-facing experience with team management and vendor management in an international setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of event planning best practices, trends and industry delivery standards.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure, think critically and make quick decisions during event execution.
  • A passion for creativity and innovation, consistently seeking new ideas to enhance event experiences.

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or in related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools for planning, tracking and reporting and Cvent Office 365.
  • Marketing Experience
