Senior Environmental Consultant (Environmental Planning)

My client, a market leading, UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join their Team of Engineers and Consultants based across the UK.

Applicants are required to have a BSc or MSc in a related discipline including Geography, Environmental Science or Environmental Management and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy as an Environmental Planner or Environmental Advisor completing or co-ordinating ES Statements and/or Environmental Impact Assessments.

Candidates are required to have a keen interest in project management, environmental compliance and coordinating reports for water and/or mining projects.

As an Environmental Consultant /Environmental Advisor you will have the opportunity to work on varied residential, ecological, water infrastructure, renewable energy schemes and mining for Local Authorities, Water Companies, Private Sector Clients and Housing Developers.

Responsibilities include:

1. Co-ordinate Environmental Impact Assessments and complete Environmental Statements.
2. Develop Environmental Management Plans.
3. Manage EIA project management including tracking project development.
4. Conduct client meetings to discuss the development of the project.
5. Engage in frequent meetings with Clients to discuss project development.
