Job Title: Senior Environmental Consultant

Location: New Market and Newcastle/Carlisle area

Salary: £37,000 - £44,000 per annum (experience dependent)

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join our UK leading incident response company working in construction, energy, chemical, industrial and agricultural fields.

We are looking for one Senior Environmental Consultant based in New Market and one based in the Newcastle/Carlisle area.

Responsibilities:
  1. Gather robust field data and create reports on results.
  2. Project budgeting and invoicing, meeting client deadlines and targets set.
  3. Oversee health and safety in line with environmental procedures and rules.
  4. Communicate successfully on projects from a technical and commercial aspect.
  5. Create proposals, scopes, and reports technically and commercially.
Candidate Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role involved in phase I and phase II environmental site assessments.
  2. Qualified to a degree level or equivalent in engineering or natural science related discipline (e.g., geography, geology, environmental science).
  3. Full understanding of current environmental legislation.
  4. Ability to interpret risk assessments.
  5. Commercial awareness and project costing skills.
