Senior Engineering Project Manager

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Project Manager to lead complex electronic sub-systems projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. This is a fantastic 12-month contract opportunity offering hybrid working and potential travel to France.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design, development, and delivery of complex electronic systems, from concept to full production.
• Manage project phases, including initiation, design, manufacturing, qualification, and customer delivery.
• Ensure adherence to project management best practices: Risk, Stakeholder, Compliance, Configuration, and Earned Value Management.
• Oversee the engineering development of products such as printers and small thermostats.

Skills/Experience Required:

• Proven experience managing detailed design and development of electronic products.
• Extensive knowledge of Project Management best practices, including risk and stakeholder management.
• Strong background in delivering projects within scope, time, and budget.
• Experience managing the full project lifecycle, from conception to customer delivery.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with an eye for detail and quality.
