What you'll be doing:
Provide strategic technical direction and governance for Veolia UK's water operations, ensuring safe and efficient performance across all treatment plants.
Drive engineering excellence through innovative, commercially viable solutions while maintaining standardised design methodologies.
Foster cross-departmental collaboration and serve as technical liaison for Veolia Group nationally and internationally.
Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team to support both existing contracts and new business opportunities.
Oversee design quality, compliance, and risk management throughout project lifecycles.
Ensure commercial viability and operational efficiency in all designs, from development through to safe handover.
Drive controlled innovation while proactively managing project risks and maintaining practical, maintainable solutions.
With robust design and engineering practice, ensure the safe, economic and efficient performance of existing and new treatment plants (water and wastewater including anaerobic digestion and sludge processing) across Veolia UK.
What we're looking for:
Expert in water/wastewater treatment plant engineering and design
Proven ability to enhance process efficiency and ensure regulatory compliance
Strong leadership and adaptable problem-solving skills
Extensive industry experience in delivering technical solutions
Deep market understanding across sectors
Experienced in strategy, commercial bids, and financial modeling
Strong competitor awareness and market knowledge
