The Role

As a Senior Lead Engineer for System Operational Readiness, you will play a critical role in delivering operational change, ensuring the resilience of the power system, and preparing for the future of energy. Working at the forefront of power system analysis, operational planning, and strategic decision-making, you will develop solutions that enable a greener, more sustainable electricity system.

The successful candidate will have:

• Engineering degree (or equivalent) with at least 6 years' relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems and energy & decarbonisation targets within the sector.
• Experience in complex analysis such as power system modelling using analysis software
• Proven ability to lead & plan projects for successful delivery
• Knowledge of the industry, environment and wider evolving context whilst demonstrating commercial acumen.
• Develop and provide innovative solutions.
• Strong analysis, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with strong ability to demonstrate decision making skills within a dynamic environment.
