As a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer at White & Case, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing our global cloud infrastructure with a specific focus on Microsoft. You will drive efficiency through automation, provide guidance on best practices, and ensure seamless integration of technology across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 and Copilot Management:

• Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
• Configure Copilot, a cloud-based platform that integrates with M365 to enhance collaboration, communication, and productivity.

Microsoft Purview Implementation:

• Implement and manage Microsoft Purview solutions with a focus on information protection, data governance, compliance management, and insider risk management.
• Use Copilot Studio to connect with Purview, facilitating the creation, management, and monitoring of data policies and classifications.

Security and Compliance:

• Ensure the security of the M365 and Copilot environments, covering identity and access management, threat protection, information protection, and overall security management.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures in collaboration with IT and security teams to comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

System Monitoring and Support:

• Monitor and maintain system health to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to engineering teams, resolving issues related to M365, Purview, and Copilot services.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 3 years working with Microsoft 365 and Purview.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365 and Purview.
• Proven experience in deploying, managing, and optimizing Microsoft 365 services; strong knowledge of Microsoft Purview.
• Solid understanding of cloud computing principles, particularly within Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with highly skilled technical professionals and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel or work overtime as needed; fluency in English is required.

Location and Reporting

This role is a permanent, full-time position based in our London/Berlin office, reporting to the Associate Director of Infrastructure Operations located in Berlin.
