Hybrid working within this role enables a balance of 50 per cent of time split between the office and home over a 4-week period. Hybrid working arrangements can evolve subject to business requirements.
Transport for London (TfL) Engineers are always looking forward. Join us in one of our Transport Infrastructure Engineering teams and, as well as maintaining legacy assets, you’ll deliver new systems and solutions. This is about connecting communities and creating opportunities, so we’re ready for the 21st century and beyond.
Day-to-day, your focus will be on delivering structural designs, assessments, drawings, specifications, calculations and enhancements that keep vital and innovative projects moving. You’ll ensure assets are safe, serviceable, reliable and compliant; develop your own solutions; and be a trusted source of structural engineering advice for your team and the wider TfL, including our Heads of Engineering Delivery.
The successful candidate is expected to bring technical expertise in structural engineering, especially in association with Bridges & Structures design/assessments and have the following essential knowledge, skills and experience:
