An established industry player is seeking a dynamic Equity Partner to lead its Employment Department. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Equity Partner for a highly reputable Legal 500 firm in the City. Salaried Partner would also be considered but with the view to the person becoming Equity Partner within an agreed period of time.
Employment is one of the Firm's core departments and a key practice area, currently comprising of 2 solicitors and a small team of paralegal/admin support. Covering a mix of claimant and respondent matters, across SME, larger corporates and individuals including executive (both contentious & non-contentious). The team works with businesses across various industry sectors helping employers develop the right strategy to ensure legal compliance and proactively resolving problems before they grow (health checks, advice on equality & diversity, company restructuring, management of employment tribunals). The team often advises on high profile discrimination and whistle blowing cases/issues of public importance.
The successful candidate will have a strong reputation and experience to help lead the Department in the next stage of its growth journey.
