Senior Employee Relations Advisor

(BANK) Band 6, Full Time

Are you an experienced Employee Relations (ER) professional looking for your next challenge? We’re looking for a Senior Employee Relations Advisor to join our supportive ER team at Croydon Health Services. If you’re passionate about fair and effective people management, this could be the perfect role for you!

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

  1. Has strong knowledge of employment law and HR policies
  2. Brings proven experience in handling complex ER cases
  3. Is an excellent communicator, able to provide clear, practical, and persuasive advice
  4. Can build strong relationships and work collaboratively with managers and HR colleagues

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Senior ER Advisor, you’ll work closely with the ER Manager, ER Advisor, and HR Business Partnering team to provide a proactive and people-centred ER service. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting managers in resolving complex ER cases using Just Culture principles, ensuring fairness and compassion remain at the heart of the process
  2. Managing a varied and complex caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, bullying & harassment, and capability cases
  3. Advising managers on best practice, employment law, and Trust policies, helping them feel confident in handling ER issues
  4. Building strong, positive relationships across the organisation and providing clear, persuasive advice to managers
