Senior Electronics Design Engineer – Leadership Opportunity

£50–60k + Benefits | Salisbury | Embedded Systems, Analogue/Digital, Manufacturing

Are you an experienced Electronics Design Engineer looking to take on more responsibility and help shape the future of a growing technology business? This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking company near Salisbury, developing and manufacturing innovative electronic products used across a range of UK and global markets.

As part of their continued growth, they’re seeking a Senior Electronics Design Engineer with the ambition not only to design cutting-edge products but to help guide and grow a multidisciplinary team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Leading by example and supporting junior engineers with technical guidance
2. Collaborating directly with clients to define technical requirements
3. Designing both new products from the ground up and improving existing ones
4. Playing a key role in a collaborative, cross-functional team across hardware, firmware, and production
5. Contributing to the long-term development of the team and processes

What You’ll Need:

1. A degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
2. Strong experience in analogue and/or digital circuit design
3. Knowledge of Design for Assembly and Manufacturing (DFA/DFM)
4. Proficiency in circuit schematic design and PCB layout
5. Embedded software skills, particularly in C
6. A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and collaboration
