Senior Electronic Design Engineer | £50-65k | Cardiff | Hybrid
Join a global leader in consumer electronic innovation!
My client is seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join its R&D team.
You’ll play a key role in developing next-gen products, working on complex, high-impact projects that shape the future of technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development & testing of electronic systems from concept to mass production.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with suppliers, customers & internal teams to meet project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with EMC, ESD, and safety standards in all designs.
- Mentor and support engineers, driving innovation & technical excellence.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Expertise in PCB design (Zuken CR5000) & circuit simulation.
- Strong background in EMC/ESD testing & fault finding at the component level.
- Experience in electronics design for mass production.
- Hands-on proficiency with test equipment & troubleshooting tools.
Bonus (Desirable Skills):
- Knowledge of Panasonic home appliance products.
- Experience leading engineering teams & projects.
