Senior Electronic Design Engineer | £50-65k | Cardiff | Hybrid

My client is seeking a Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join its R&D team.

You’ll play a key role in developing next-gen products, working on complex, high-impact projects that shape the future of technology.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the design, development & testing of electronic systems from concept to mass production.
2. Collaborate cross-functionally with suppliers, customers & internal teams to meet project requirements.
3. Ensure compliance with EMC, ESD, and safety standards in all designs.
4. Mentor and support engineers, driving innovation & technical excellence.

Essential Skills & Experience:

1. Degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent experience).
2. Expertise in PCB design (Zuken CR5000) & circuit simulation.
3. Strong background in EMC/ESD testing & fault finding at the component level.
4. Experience in electronics design for mass production.
5. Hands-on proficiency with test equipment & troubleshooting tools.

Bonus (Desirable Skills):

1. Knowledge of Panasonic home appliance products.
2. Experience leading engineering teams & projects.
