JOB – Senior Electrical Project Engineer – Remote, Home based

TERM: Permanent

SALARY: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum plus benefits

A Derbyshire based engineering company is looking for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Attributes:

1. BEng or equivalent Electrical Engineering qualification or relevant discipline.
2. Strong Electrical background – ideally for power, energy or similar.
3. Good understanding of software such as MATLAB.
4. Good understanding of AutoCAD electrical drawing package.
5. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
6. Strong communication skills.
7. Full UK driving license is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

1. Project work.
2. Design of electrical systems through to installation.
3. Coordinate with other engineers, departments, and customers to ensure requirements are being met at all times.
4. System modelling & simulation work to improve performance of systems.
5. Attending site visits when required.
6. Ensuring relevant health & safety regulations at all times.
7. Providing support for testing, commissioning & troubleshooting when required.

Based fully remote with travel to sites & facilities when required.
