Job Description:

Role: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Home Working/Remote
Rate: £400 - £450 p/day - Inside IR35 (Depending on experience)
Duration: 12 months+
Sector: Wastewater Treatment (Non-Infrastructure)

Are you an Engineer looking for a new challenge to assist with wastewater treatment schemes nationwide?

Carrington West are working with a leading Design & Build Contractor who are delivering major design schemes within the water sector from their office in Peterborough. We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with a Water sector background who has experience in detailed design and is able to assist the business with design review and submission.

In this job you will be working across the full spectrum of engineering design which will include feasibility, optioneering, detailed design, outline design, final design, and technical specifications and proposals for water related non-infrastructure projects for the end client.

In order to be suitable, the job you MUST have the below as a minimum:

1. Experience in the full cycle of project design delivery from inception to detailed design.
2. Able to take responsibility for leading small projects and sub tasks from a technical perspective.
3. Knowledge and experience of design of one or more of the following:
1. Water treatment works
2. Wastewater treatment works
3. Potable water networks, pumping stations and reservoirs
4. Experience of working within multidisciplinary teams, and able to provide technical mentoring to Graduate Engineers and technicians.
5. Excellent communication skills and able to represent in a client facing roles.
6. Knowledge of Safety in Design principles and accustomed to working to a high standard in terms of H&S compliance.

Minimum requirements:

1. Industry relevant degree
2. Experience using a 3D design tool and other proprietary software products
3. Previous experience working on Water/Wastewater and AMP related projects for a UK Water authority
