As the Senior EC&I Technician, you will carry out mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and automation fault finding, breakdown and Preventative Maintenance repairs on equipment to ensure equipment downtime is minimized to ensure achievement of the production plan.

Your Responsibilities:

• Providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
• Improve OEE through the application of TPM and other Lean tools increasing the mean time between failures (MTBF) while reducing the mean time to repair (MTTR).
• Analyse equipment reliability and generate ideas for solving chronic issues related to equipment on lines, coating benches and washcoat manufacture. Initiate solutions, new projects and improvements.
• Carry out investigations in safety and breakdown events via 4CP, RCA techniques.
• Participate in Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Programs to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
• Work in a safe manner to minimize equipment downtime.

Requirements for the Role:

• Knowledge of Lean/CI tools (5S, TPM, RCA, PDCA).
• Experience working in a highly regulated COMAH environment.
• IEE 18th Edition or equivalent.
• Familiarity with process automation equipment.
• Ability to adapt and maintain effectiveness when experiencing changes in responsibilities or work environment.
• Maintain stable performance under pressure or opposition (such as time pressure or job ambiguity).
