About the Team
Warwickshire Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is a community focused service, which strives for inclusion by removing barriers. We have continued to grow and further develop our offer and have maintained our well-founded reputation for supporting settings and other services. We have developed innovative ways of delivering support to parents/carers, children/young people, schools and other settings and continue to focus on gaining positive outcomes for Warwickshire’s children, young people and families.
Senior Educational Psychologists East Area:
You will support the EPS leadership with specific strategic and management assignments to extend the leadership of the Educational Psychology Service, working proactively to ensure value added outcomes for children and young people (CYP) as part of the wider Education Strategy. We welcome applicants with a minimum of five years experience working full time (although 0.8FTE would be considered).
You will take the lead within a geographical area for service delivery, supervision and line management of the area team.
We are a large, vibrant and strong service of over forty EPs. Each team is led by a Senior Educational Psychologist. The breadth and range of work undertaken across the service is hugely varied. We contribute and take a lead in a range of strategic initiatives within the Local Authority such as:

We can offer a range of generic and specialist work within the 0-25 age range in all types of educational setting. We have very successfully developed a range of flexible working practices and all EPs are issued with a Surface Pro to support this.

Key Requirements
We need motivated, enthusiastic, skilled, creative and successful EPs able to improve outcomes for children, young people and families through individual, group, and system level activity, and through research and project work. You need to be a reflective practitioner, resilient, solution orientated, and an excellent communicator. You must be HCPC registered.
