Overview of the role:

The PokerStars Creative & Content team has an amazing opportunity for a Senior Edit Assistant– to be a key figure in the operation of the Creative & Content post production department.

This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognizing that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

In our office, you'll work with a view – overlooking the River Thames, Hammersmith Bridge, and the iconic Harrods Furniture Depository. What you’ll do:

Reporting into the Head of Technical Operations, the purpose of this hands-on role is to ensure the ongoing smooth running of the Covent Garden based post production facility, supporting all technical requirements of the Creative & Content team whether in facility, remotely, or on location. The successful candidate will need a high level of autonomy; this is not a 9-5 role.

1. Work closely with the Post Production Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of the post production department
2. Be a focal point for edit suite operations
3. Day-to-day technical oversight of the facility
4. 1st and 2nd line support within the facility
5. Prepare media and projects for offline edit through to online edit and delivery
6. Create and QC files for all platforms

What you’ll bring:

1. Experience with Avid Media Composer / Avid Interplay
2. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products
3. A high level of competence with PC and Mac networked environments
4. A high level of experience of DIT, file creation, video codecs, and media creation tools
5. Self-starter with honed problem-solving skills
6. Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with an adaptable and positive attitude

Desirable:

1. Familiarity with AWS and internet streaming equipment and platforms
2. Familiarity with XenData Lt0 and Telestream Vantage
3. Experience in the betting and gaming industry
