Senior Ecologist

Location: Essex / South East / East Anglia - Hybrid Working

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

An established and forward-thinking ecological consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Ecologist to join their growing team. You'll contribute to a diverse range of projects, from major infrastructure and mitigation schemes to smaller-scale developments, combining project management, mentoring, and technical delivery.

You'll need:

1. Proven experience within ecological consultancy (~5 years)
2. Project management and leadership skills
3. Strong knowledge of UK ecology and legislation
4. Experience with protected species licensing
5. Advanced botanical and habitat assessment skills
6. Associate or Full CIEEM membership
