Salary: £35,000-£45,000

I am pleased to announce that we are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join a successful ecology team within a major multi-disciplinary consultancy, working on projects around the South East. The team works predominantly in the private sector on a range of projects which include renewable energy, residential, logistics, education, and leisure. They offer a range of training and support and are well-renowned in the industry!

The role of a Senior Ecologist involves:

1. Undertaking surveys for protected species.
2. Phase 1 habitat surveys to map habitats.
3. Project management and client liaison.

Requirements include:

1. Experience as a professional ecological consultant.
2. The ability to write high-quality reports in line with CIEEM guidelines.
3. Experience of writing fee proposals is beneficial.

This role can be home-based (will have to go to the London office on occasion for meetings).
