Senior/Principal Ecologist

Cambridge - Hybrid

£750 Placement Bonus* + Salary £40-50k

Role Overview:

As an Ecologist with us, you'll play a pivotal role in conducting ecological assessments, surveys, and impact studies across a range of projects. Collaborating closely with our diverse team of environmental experts, you'll contribute your expertise to inform sustainable development strategies and conservation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conducting ecological field surveys and assessments.
2. Analysing data to evaluate environmental impacts.
3. Providing expert recommendations for biodiversity conservation.
4. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
5. Contributing to multi-disciplinary project teams on diverse environmental initiatives.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field.
2. Proven experience in ecological survey techniques and data analysis.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
4. Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations.
5. Experience working in a consultancy environment is advantageous.
