As our Nuclear Team in Warrington continues to grow, we are looking for dynamic Senior EC&I Technicians with a strong track record in regulated and quality-assured systems. This presents an excellent opportunity to advance your career with a leading industry player.

You will become an integral part of a diverse and exciting team, contributing significantly to project management and delivery. Working closely with AECOM's talented engineering team, you will provide expert leadership and technical oversight in nuclear structural engineering. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring the structural integrity, safety, and reliability of nuclear facilities and infrastructure.

Here's what you'll do:

  • Responsible for the delivery of EC&I designs within the department, including the production of design documentation, AutoCAD designs, Revit modelling, Amtech calculations, and checking the work of other designers.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated designs that meet project specifications and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, standards, and codes in the design process.
  • Assist with the preparation of project timelines and ensure designs are delivered on schedule and within budget.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements, software tools, and best practices in EC&I design.

Qualifications

Here's what we're looking for:

  • Qualified to a minimum of HNC level and preferably have a good relevant engineering degree.
  • Extensive relevant experience and able to demonstrate sound technical knowledge.
  • Competent user of the current version of AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, and DIALux.
  • A sound understanding of drawing standards and best drawing practice.
  • A working knowledge of BS7671, Low Voltage Electrical Distribution Design, and Lighting design.
  • Self-motivated with an ability to work autonomously and in a dynamic team environment.
