Senior Director, Pershing EMEA Head of Engineering

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Head of Engineering (Senior Director) to join our BNY Pershing EMEA team. This role is located in either our Manchester or London office.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

• SMF24 / PCF49 Engineering accountability, with primary focus on the oversight of multiple global BNY internal providers to deliver resilient, robust, performant and scalable technology products and services to the Pershing EMEA legal entities.
• Senior BNY Engineering representative to the Pershing EMEA executive, multiple legal entity boards and formal committees.
• Technical Pre-Sales engagement including RFP/RFI support and client workshops.
• Participation in Global prioritisation decision-making, being the Senior EMEA Engineering advocate for the requirements of the Pershing EMEA Legal Entities.
• Contribute to technology and architecture strategy for Pershing EMEA, in line with BNY Mellon Policy and architectural standards.
• Implement cybersecurity and technology risk management strategies, to protect the Pershing EMEA business in line with Board Risk Appetite and BNY Mellon Policy.
• Oversee outsourcing and vendor management for third parties providing information technology infrastructure, including services provided by BNY Mellon Technology.
• Liaison with senior Information Technology leadership across Pershing, EMEA Regional and International Technology.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Degree-level education and/or Senior Industry qualifications (Financial Services/Technology).
• Experience of Senior management responsibility for an Engineering function.
• Experience working for a regulated financial services company and preferably the holding of personal regulatory responsibility.
• Experience managing the delivery of Technology products and Services by multiple internal and external providers.
• Experience of building mutually beneficial relationships with Senior Stakeholders across an Enterprise.
