Our Global Brand Partnerships team is seeking a Senior Director, Global Brand Partnerships to lead ESL Faceit Group's most impactful brand partnership initiatives. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of securing new brand alliances while fostering and expanding long-term partnerships. As a key driver of revenue growth, you'll play a crucial role in strengthening ESL FACEIT Group's presence across Europe and beyond.

This role requires a strategic yet independent approach to monetizing existing EFG's products, alongside creating unique, engaging brand initiatives that captivate esports and gaming communities. Collaborating closely with the global EFG team, you will ensure integrated development and bring strategic visions to life, both online and at live events.

This role is a hands-on sales leadership position, driving brand partnerships through strategy, collaboration, and client management. The ideal candidate will identify opportunities in key product categories, developing custom 7-8-figure partnerships with aligned brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and industry partners.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with key clients, proactively seeking new initiatives and growth within those accounts.
  • Strategy & Implementation: Develop and lead sponsorship and partnership strategies that expand ESL FACEIT Group's customer base.
  • Market Insights: Identify trends in advertising and marketing strategies within target sectors.
  • Full Partnership Lifecycle Ownership: Oversee the partnership process from initial contact to contract signing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or more than 8 to 10 years of equivalent experience/qualification.
  • A strong global network, established set of relationships with brands and agencies.
  • Experience within the media/advertising landscape.
  • Fully capable of building and maintaining relationships with clients.
  • Creative thinking and ability to create and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Structured thinker and strong presenter.
  • Strong understanding of deal valuation and ROI/ROO measurement practices.
  • Self-starter, tenacious, and motivated by the delivery of targets.
  • Ability to be a good team player is essential.
  • A genuine passion for gaming and a desire to learn about the Esports industry.
  • A personable and client-friendly sales approach.

Bonus experience:

  • Previous experience working in esports/ gaming/ sports/ entertainment industries.
