We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director Cloud Security Architect. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud security solutions to protect our organization's data and infrastructure. As a Senior Director Cloud Security Architect, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to assess security risks, develop security strategies, and ensure compliance with industry standards. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud security architecture, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cloud security architecture strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps to protect our organization's cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security risks and provide recommendations for mitigating vulnerabilities.
  • Design and implement security controls and measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct security assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration testing to identify and address potential security threats.
  • Provide guidance and support to development teams on secure coding practices and security best practices.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud security and recommend improvements to existing security frameworks.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure security requirements are incorporated into cloud projects from inception to delivery.
  • Assist with incident response and investigation efforts in the event of a security breach or incident.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including architecture diagrams, security policies, and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in cloud security architecture, with a focus on designing and implementing security solutions in cloud environments in at least two of the three major Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM, and vulnerability scanning tools.
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and knowledge of common web application vulnerabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST), and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and/or Cloud Security Certification is desired.
