This is what you will do:

In order to deliver compelling, valuable, and relevant experiences to our customers, you will establish relationships with franchise teams, their creative agency partners, and their extended business teams, to champion the adoption, expansion, and measurement of omnichannel marketing programs to healthcare professionals and patients that support the brand strategic plans and business objectives.

The Digital Marketing Manager is a key role in supporting and challenging brand teams implementing omnichannel marketing campaigns in the UK. You will focus on campaign and experience design, channel strategy, website content management, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), media campaign planning, online webinar channel placement, email campaign scheduling, and social media strategies.

You will be responsible for:

  • In collaboration with franchise teams, develop and implement campaign content and digital channel strategies designed to enhance the customer experience under the guidance of the Digital Strategy Lead
  • Maximising customer engagement with campaign content created by franchise teams.
  • Deliver digital media planning and coordination of asset delivery, liaising with agency partners over third-party ad serving and trafficking.
  • Evaluate digital campaign performance using best practice KPIs and enable franchise teams to use a data-driven approach and identify actionable insights to ensure campaign impact is maximised.
  • Deliver paid social media campaigns within the scope of the ABPI code, ensuring content is optimised to maximise reach and engagement across the range of social platforms.
  • Provide expert guidance to franchise teams on the creation of digital assets that follow best practice design principles, maximise click-through rates, and drive great customer experience.
  • Facilitate access to online platforms for virtual events, including management of agencies.
  • Coordinate email deployment schedules across therapy areas and work with teams to deliver best-in-class email campaigns. Including email design principles, A/B testing, and deployment variables (Time/Day of Deployment, Audience Segmentation, Throttling, etc) to maximise open, engagement, and click-through rates.
  • Support the management of current HCP platforms, monitoring site performance and analytics to ensure content, UX, and behaviour flow is optimised across the sites.
  • Identify and share new ways of marketing to audiences through digital innovation such as AI (LLM, machine learning).

Essential for the role:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline such as Business, Marketing, or Communications
  • Experience partnering with pharmaceutical commercial affiliate brand/marketing teams
  • Experience in delivering online marketing projects with measurable outcomes
  • Knowledge of channels such as: email, SMS, web, direct mail, print, media, SEM, social, salesforce, events
  • Proven experience working with digital marketing tools and platforms e.g., Adobe Campaign manager, Aveeva or similar customer relationship management system
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to create and develop collaborative working relationships across different functions and teams

Desirable for the role:

  • Experience of developing customer experience strategies, campaign designs, and channel strategies
  • Experience of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) for campaign content deployment
  • Experience working in a media agency or consultancy
  • Experience in healthcare (biopharma, consumer health, med-tech, med-consumables) environment
  • Lean start-up / “Minimal Viable Product” (MVP) / agile approach knowledge
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to evaluate campaign performance
