Senior DevOps Engineer – Terraform – Linux - Python – AWS

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be required to attend the client's offices two days per week in central London. This role is within a cloud-first environment at a London-based data-driven financial trading company that operates within the algorithmic trading space. The company seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a Data and DevOps engineering team that works closely with software engineers, data scientists, and analytics teams to implement event-driven analytics solutions. An ideal candidate would be deeply passionate about working with high-quality, well-structured infrastructure environments, leveraging the latest technology and methods available.

The Senior DevOps Engineer will:

• Assist with the growth and enhancement of their core environments.
• Be fully involved in the architecture, build, and maintenance of their Linux environment.
• Assist with continuous deployments across several environments.
• Enhance automation of infrastructure systems.
• Assist with the standardization of the containerized platform and drive towards Cloud.
• Identify ways to improve reliability, efficiency, and quality.

The Senior DevOps Engineer will have:

• 6+ years of commercial experience.
• Proven DevOps experience within Linux environments.
• Scripting experience – Python or Bash.
• Implemented Automation environments across multiple environments.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Terraform experience required.
• CI/CD experience.
