Are you an experienced Underwriter in property and casualty insurance looking for your next challenge? My client is seeking a talented Development Underwriter to join their team in Birmingham.

The Role:
As a Development Underwriter, you’ll be responsible for identifying and securing new business, maintaining broker relationships, and supporting renewals. You’ll work collaboratively with a dynamic team to deliver tailored solutions and meet financial targets.

Requirements:

1. Proven underwriting experience in Property and Casualty insurance.
2. Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
3. Knowledge of the local insurance market.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
5. Degree and/or ACII qualification preferred.
6. Full driving license required.
