Elegant Clutter works with high-end hotels and restaurants and provides a bespoke and outstanding service to clients both within the UK and overseas.

Artstory | Elegant Clutter, renowned for transforming spaces within high-end hotels, restaurants, and commercial venues globally, is seeking a dynamic Senior Designer to join our innovative design team in Warwick.

At Artstory | Elegant Clutter, we believe that art transcends boundaries. Our mission is to create, curate, and install bespoke artworks that narrate compelling stories and evoke emotions. From framed pencil sketches to bespoke sculptures, our creations are predominantly designed in-house and manufactured on-site. Our studios are where graphic design and fine art converge.

As a Senior Designer, you'll be at the forefront of developing art collections that captivate and inspire across both brands. Reporting to the Lead Designer, you'll help set the conceptual and stylistic direction for projects, producing innovative ideas and guiding the visual language for the team. Your role encompasses:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Concept Development: Collaborate with creative teams to generate and present innovative and bespoke solutions that resonate with clients' narratives.
2. Visual Storytelling: Craft sketches, mood-boards, and art layouts that bring creative visions to life.
3. Collaborate and Communicate: Work seamlessly with internal teams, external artists, and clients to translate concepts into tangible artworks, maintaining open channels for feedback and adaptation throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Client Engagement: Translate client briefs into innovative art packages that exceed expectations, delivered on time and within budget.
5. Generate compelling ideas and concepts in collaboration with creative teams, including artwork design, product design & production.
6. Effectively communicate and present your artwork concepts to clients in an engaging and passionate manner.
7. Design and refine visual presentations, producing sketches, mood-boards, and art layouts that encapsulate creative visions.
8. Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and clients, adapting work as projects evolve.
9. Create artworks from concept through to technical preparation of digital files for printing.
10. Take ownership of the creative process, providing direction to designers, artists, and external suppliers to ensure cohesive execution.

Who You Are:

Educational Background: Degree in Graphic Design, Fine Art, Textile Design, or equivalent professional experience demonstrating a high level of creative expertise.

Experience: Minimum of 6 years in a studio, print, or creative environment, with a robust portfolio showcasing creativity, colour mastery, composition, and imaginative thinking.

Technical Skills: Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with a continuous learning mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a good working knowledge of digital printing processes.

Artistic Abilities: Hand painting and drawing skills are highly advantageous.

Personal Attributes: Methodical, organised, and accurate with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. Strong communication skills to build effective relationships with departments, suppliers, and clients. A positive, energetic approach with a passion for continuous learning.
