The Opportunity

Consolidated Power Projects is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer - Secondary to join our growing Engineering team.

Secondary Design Engineers deliver timely and accurate technical designs while supporting field staff, customers and colleagues. The successful candidate will be able to produce accurate precision designs required for secondary protection and control (PAC) systems in the high voltage utility and renewable sectors. You will deliver complex internal and external secondary system design projects, and demonstrate capability of checking secondary system design outputs.

You will join a highly regarded in-house Design & Engineering team of over 140 experienced professionals and play an integral role in the successful delivery of various industry leading projects.

This opportunity has the flexibility to be based out of any of our CPP offices in SA/VIC/NSW/QLD and remote working arrangements are available for those in Tasmania or Western Australia. Relocation assistance is also available for any successful candidates wishing to relocate to one of our offices.

Skills And Experiences

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex secondary systems design projects
  • 7+ years experience in a similar role within Energy/Electrical utilities industries
  • High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
