Senior Design Engineer, Fit-out

Job Description

A leading design consultancy within fit-outs and refurbishments of offices and retail based in Manchester has a key requirement for a Senior Design Engineer who has specific knowledge of creative floor space design within retail.

As the successful Senior Designer, you will be responsible for:

1. Producing concepts and ideas for retail environments - providing visuals, moodboards, plans, and information to bring your designs to life.
2. Providing lighting, fittings, and furnishing specifications.
3. Liaising with clients and managing projects to deliver results.
4. Attending site meetings with contractors as required.
5. Creating detailed and accurate drawing packages.
6. Managing design team members.

To be successful as the Senior Design Engineer, you should have:

1. A degree qualified in interior design.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Attention to detail.
4. Experience in retail design.
5. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Adobe Creative Suite.
6. Located within commuting distance to Manchester city centre.
