As part of a continued commitment to delivering product innovation, our client, a market-leading manufacturer of branded consumer and commercial products, is looking to hire a Senior Design Engineer to drive future product development.

LOCATION

Midlands (office-based role).

THE JOB ROLE

The Senior Design Engineer role is a diverse position that will see you engage with a multitude of different teams and stakeholders to deliver new small- and large-scale projects that are key to the product design and manufacturing processes.

• Project-based input across material use, product and component design, use of materials in production, packaging, transport, and distribution.
• Engagement with the product design and engineering lifecycle from CAD design, sourcing materials, engaging with 3^rd parties, financials, hands-on product testing, etc.
• Collating data, analysis, and reporting.
• Working with 3^rd party electronics component suppliers.

THE PERSON NEEDED

For the Senior Design Engineer role, our client is ideally looking for someone with demonstrable experience of product design and development in a comparable field:

• 5 years experience of hands-on end-to-end product design.
• Ideally experience working in a consumer or branded product environment.
• An innovative and adaptable approach to driving positive change.

THE REWARDS

£50-55K Basic
