Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join its team in Madrid.

Senior Design Engineer - Solar Trackers and Fixed Structures
DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Offer Support:

• Perform engineering work using Finite elements and CAD software to solve problems in Tracker and Fixed Structure Calculation and Design.
• Layout Verification.
• PVsyst Verification.
• Local Standard calculation adaptation.
• Wind tunnel test loads interpretation.

R&D Activities:

• Support at University Test field. Set up of prototypes and electrical/control system.
• Participate in New Products design and calculation and New Products tests.

Project Management:

• Follow up of Spanish team activities.
• Work-load optimization and organization.

Field Support:

• Occasional visit to Solar Plant sites to give support to activities.
• Help with supervising the construction and commissioning of the Solar Plant.
