Job Title: Senior Design Engineer/ Manager

Location: Lancashire

Salary: up to £55,000 + Bonus + fantastic benefits listed below.

They design and manufacture state-of-the-art Patented Technology for a Whole house solution - working to Future House Standards, with an emphasis on zero carbon solutions. Working from the best facilities with a fantastic working environment they employ varied manufacturing processes to back their heavy investment in R&D.

Job Description:

1. Managing a small section of Design Engineers designing for Offsite manufacturing (DFM).
2. Working on cutting-edge design solutions that are revolutionising the housing sector.
3. DFM - Leading the way in modern methods of construction (MMC).
4. As a Senior Product/ Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be working within the R&D team offering solutions across a variety of projects varying in complexity.

About You:

1. You must have strong Solidworks experience.
2. Strong organisational ability.
3. A hands-on approach with the team and projects.
4. Either worked with building regulations or worked to standards and willing to learn.
5. You will display confidence in your ideas and opinions as you will shape the new systems being built.
6. This role will need strong problem-solving skills.
7. Previous knowledge of a variety of materials such as plastic, metal, rubber and timber; and processes: from extrusion, injection moulding and casting.

The Package:

1. Basic Salary - up to £55,000
2. 37.5 hours a week (flexitime)
